Shining Stars of the Deep: Selected Works for Ocean Stars UW Photo Gallery 2026 Officially Revealed!
The most influential diving event in the Asia-Pacific region, DRT SHOW Malaysia, will grandly open on January 30 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). As a signature cultural highlight, the "Ocean Stars" Underwater Photography Gallery officially announced its 50 nominated works today. This gallery aims to provide an inclusive platform where ocean imagery—from passionate beginners to seasoned masters—receives equal exposure and respect. Alongside the announcement, the highly anticipated "Best Popularity Award" public voting will officially launch on January 12 on the EZDIVE APP.
A Symphony of the Deep: 50 Selected Masterpieces
The "Ocean Stars" Gallery embodies the philosophy that "Imagery knows no boundaries; Passion knows no limits." The 50 selected works capture the tranquility and vibrancy of the ocean with breathtaking clarity. These pieces will be physically exhibited at the gallery area in KLCC Hall 4 & 5 during the show (Jan 30 – Feb 1), offering visitors an immersive visual experience.
Nominated Photographers (In no particular order): Allan Chiu, Billy Bang, Chian Eak Wei, Christopher Teoh, Dalina Binti Udin, DaYe, Fatimah Rabihah, Gan Wei Lun, Giam Teo, Heiman Wong, Hugo Kew Pei Sheng, Ipah Uid Lynn, and others creators (Full list available on the official poster).
Crowning Glory: Public Vote for "Best Popularity Award"
To foster a connection between photographers and the audience, the "Best Popularity Award" has been established, inviting all ocean-loving visitors to act as judges. This award celebrates the photographer’s creative achievements through community engagement. The photographer with the highest number of votes will win the Grand Prize sponsored by Summer Bay Resort (Lang Tengah Island):
