The 2025 DRT SHOW Taiwan International Dive and Resort Travel Expo recently concluded successfully at the Taipei Flora EXPO Dome. The event welcomed a total of 38,830 visitors, marking an 11.2% increase from the previous edition, a clear indication of the booming dive industry and its growing appeal. With over a hundred professional exhibitors and a wealth of diverse programs, the three-day show attracted a large number of dive enthusiasts and industry professionals. The venue was packed with energy and excitement, fostering extensive networking and cooperation. Once again, DRT SHOW solidified its status as a leading business platform in the Asian diving market. Compared to other regional dive expos, DRT SHOW stands out in scale, international brand participation, and audience quality—taking the lead in both market influence and matchmaking efficiency. It has become the premier stage for brands expanding into the Asian dive market.

This year’s show featured an array of rich and diverse activities. Seminar topics covered multiple areas to provide divers with comprehensive knowledge and practical insights.

Underwater Photography seminars helped participants improve their technical skills and visual storytelling, enhancing their ability to document dives with both precision and aesthetics.

Freediving Challenges deepened understanding of physical limits and risk management, promoting safety awareness and personal growth.

Through this multi-dimensional programming, attendees not only gained knowledge but also expanded their perspectives and strengthened their connection to the ocean. These seminars also offered excellent brand visibility and promotional opportunities for educational institutions.

  

 

In addition, interactive experience zones such as the AED First Aid Mini-Class, 360-Degree Photo Booth, and Kids Zone Coloring Corner were very well received.

The Kids Zone, developed in collaboration with our official media partner, featured materials from the coloring book "The Adventures of Cassie and the Blackfish Gang", co-authored with Filipino illustrator AG Sano. This engaging experience creatively instilled ocean conservation values in the next generation, offering children and parents a meaningful and educational time together.

 

 

A special highlight of this year’s exhibition was the hosting of two major events: the Ocean Stars Underwater Photo Gallery and Sea Vision Underwater Cinema. The “Most Popular Award” was granted to Hsu Sheng-Ming’s Beautiful Leaf Slug (Prize: PROBLUE Piston Balanced Regulator Set FR-9019B) and Li Fang-Ling’s Raja Ampat (Prize: CREST CR-F). In addition, interactive activities such as the “Squid Game,” “Bubble Agent Stamp Rally,” “Lucky Draw,” and “Ocean Creative Handcraft Workshop” kept the excitement going with continuous prize giveaways. These experiences greatly boosted visitor engagement and on-site spending momentum, generating substantial returns for brand marketing and product promotion.

The exhibitor lineup at this edition of the show was both impressive and diverse, featuring top global diving equipment brands such as GARMIN, CREST, PROBLUE, AOI, OCEANMAX, SHEARWATER, EVOLVE HAWAII, DIVEROID, and WATER PRO. These brands showcased the latest diving technologies and high-end equipment applications, offering a wide array of choices for professional buyers and divers alike.

The dive travel sector was equally exciting, including international and local dive travel brands such as Maldives Legend, Neptune Liveaboards Indonesia, Scuba Go – Indonesia, Tiare Cruise Indonesia, Wonderful Indonesia, MV HALIA MALDIVES, NEOMI Liveaboard, as well as Taiwan Dive Center and Taiwan Dive Center Green Island.

 

 

In addition, official tourism organizations made a powerful appearance, including the Philippines Department of Tourism, Wonderful Indonesia (Indonesia Tourism Board), and the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration of the Tourism Administration, MOTC (Taiwan). Leveraging their official platforms and resources, these organizations promoted dive tourism and local industries, further solidifying DRT SHOW’s role as a central hub for integrated dive tourism resources across Asia.

Furthermore, marine conservation organizations such as the Ocean Conservation Administration, Citizen of the Ocean Foundation, Taiwan Cetacean Society, Kuroshio Ocean Education Foundation, Taiwan Laogu Island Association, and the Environmental Information Center also actively participated, promoting ocean sustainability through education and meaningful exchange.

 

 

Special zones for new product showcases and tech innovations attracted buyers and distributors alike. From entry-level divers to seasoned experts, the show provided solutions tailored to every need, enhancing vertical integration and upstream-downstream industry collaboration.
