Strong Return of the Largest Diving Expo in Asia! DRT SHOW in Hong Kong after COVID-19

Since the grand celebration of the 10th Diving Resort Travel Expo Hong Kong (DRT SHOW Hong Kong) in 2019, after a long wait of three years, DRT SHOW Hong Kong will return to Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on 15-17 December this year!

DRT SHOW, the No.1 brand diving expo in Asia has, since its inception in 2009, been committed to branding, professionalisation and internationalisation by serving as a communication platform for manufacturers, service providers and brand owners who want to keep abreast of the latest market trends. In addition to promoting the healthy development of diving and related industries, DRT SHOW also intends to encourage more people to understand the beautiful underwater world and warmly invites all ocean lovers to join the event.

DRT SHOW Hong Kong 2023 is honoured to have Tourism Promotions Board Philippines (TPB), Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB), Palau Visitors Authority (PVA), and Tourism Fiji bringing abundant overseas travel information. With the easing of the pandemic and the reopening of state borders, previous exhibitors are finally returning to Hong Kong after a three-year hiatus. Many well-known equipment brands such as Scuba System International, Nauticam, Nitescuba, 10Bar, Scubalamp, Kraken Sports, Reanson, Sea Frogs, DIVE&SAIL, X-ADVENTURER, Waydoo, Weefine, AOI, GULL, DIVESTAR, Problue, DIVECICA, OrcaTorch, PRIDONNA, Edge Smart Drive, Black Tec Scuba, SKYWOODS, Jiangsu Yiheng Sports Products, Water-Pro and more will showcase the latest in diving gear, technological innovations, and design concepts.

Furthermore, this exhibition brings together various association units and professional diving education systems such as HKUA, Hong Kong Freediving Association, Borderless Freediving Association, TDI SDI ERDI, NAUI, and DIWA. They provide information on courses ranging from beginner to advanced levels, covering scuba diving, freediving, and more. This year has also attracted exhibitors from various countries including China, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Spain, the Maldives, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Palau, Fiji, Egypt, and Thailand, including diving training organisations, diving equipment brands, dive shops and centres, resorts, and liveaboard operators, making the 2023 DRT SHOW Hong Kong much more international and diversified.

In addition to over a hundred brand exhibitioners, DRT SHOW Hong Kong will also feature a wide range of activities. In order to promote the beauty of underwater world, DRT SHOW Hong Kong will again host the ‘Ocean Stars UW Photo Gallery,’ attracting hundreds of underwater photographers to submit their work. The selected work will be displayed onsite and online during the exhibition, and the Best Popular Award will be decided - each and every visitor can vote for their favourite underwater photo. The most voted for photographer will win a Nauticam Macro to Wide Angle Lens 1.

This year, DRT SHOW Hong Kong will promote more than 20 dive-related seminars, covering topics such as underwater photography, diving tourism, freediving, diving equipment and more, allowing people to communicate with masters from related fields and expand their diving horizons. To support creativity, the ‘Ocean Culture Fair’ will bring together a number of domestic handicraft brands to exhibit and sell a variety of ocean-related cultural and creative products. The ‘Lucky Draw’ on the weekend will be one of the most anticipated activities for visitors, simply by purchasing a ticket for entry, there is a chance to win exciting prizes such as the latest diving equipment, marine accessories, and more.
