CURMA (Coastal Underwater Resource Management Actions), founded in 2010, is dedicated to protecting endangered sea turtles and their habitats. Originally focused on preventing poaching, CURMA has successfully transformed former poachers into sea turtle patrollers through education and livelihood support. By engaging local communities, CURMA addresses threats like poaching, climate change, and pollution. Their efforts have gained international recognition, and they aim to release 1 million sea turtle hatchlings by 2030.
