Call for Submissions: 2026 DRT SHOW Chengdu
Organized by DRT SHOW, the leading diving expo in Asia, the iconic brand project "Ocean Stars UW Photo Gallery" has officially launched its global call for submissions for the upcoming 2026 Chengdu exhibition.
| A Non-Competitive Platform Redefining Underwater Aesthetics |
Distinct from traditional photography competitions, the "Ocean Stars UW Photo Gallery" has maintained a unique positioning since its inception: it serves as a pure platform for underwater imagery aggregation and offline community exchange, rather than a competitive arena judged by a conventional panel.
The organizers emphasize that the core mission of "Ocean Stars" is to showcase the diversity and inclusivity of the underwater world. It aims to provide an egalitarian exhibition space not only for established master photographers but specifically for the next generation of underwater enthusiasts and novice photographers. As long as the artwork meets fundamental technical standards and effectively conveys the authentic beauty and ecological value of the oceans, it will have the opportunity to be displayed in high-quality physical gallery formats at the premium booths of the expo, reaching tens of thousands of visitors.
To enhance onsite engagement, the "Popularity Award" will be determined entirely by public voting from expo visitors. Every selected photographer's work will be presented directly to tens of thousands of diving enthusiasts and attendees for onsite voting.
The selected artworks for the Chengdu edition will be exhibited for three days from July 17 to July 19, 2026, at the Western China International Expo City.
| Submission Eligibility & Requirements |
- Shooting Period: Artworks must be captured between January 1, 2025, and June 1, 2026.
- Technical Specifications: Submissions must be captured underwater (no limitation on themes), with a high resolution of over 12 megapixels and 300 dpi. Watermarks of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- Ecological Principle: The organizer strictly advocates green diving and marine conservation. Any artwork proven to involve touching, disturbing, or damaging marine life during the shoot will be immediately disqualified from the exhibition and voting.
- Submission Quantity: Each contributor may submit up to 2 artworks per entry (multiple separate entries are permitted).
